Dreamwork & Changing Social Norms

If we want to change the world, we have to first change ourselves.

When we change ourselves enough, we no longer blindly accept social norms, especially those cultural norms adopted and absorbed unconsciously throughout childhood.

When we break free from conscious and unconscious thought & behaviour patterns we are more free to be our True Selves and live in a full expression of the independent & unique beings that we are.

When we live from our unique & independent Self, expressing the fullness of ourself in the world, we are bound to come face-to-face with very old, out-dated beliefs, practices & customs.

Identifying them and changing them takes Perseverance & Courage.

Moving through them requires a willingness to take a stand regardless of what others say, think, feel or do.

It means having a clear vision in mind of the positive future and going for it knowing it is possible, even if it is risky, even if it challenges out-dated models of thinking.

Dreamwork/Changework helps in this process because the unconscious fears which limit us show up in the dream. When we look to this, understand it, and develop the new skills to deal with it, then really amazing things can happen.

The growth which comes out of this is remarkable and worth all the effort.

But don’t take my word for it. Try considering a dream you’ve had and look to where the biggest challenge is in the dream. Flipping the worst part into a positive just requires learning to let the ego-fears go and see the opportunities for change and development of  positive character traits.

This process unleashes your powerfully positive self and changes everything!

Why don’t you give it a try?
